I’m cheerful, dedicated, and a good listener. I’m a bit impatient by nature, but I’m driven by the desire to make everyday life better for all of us who live in Västerås.

When I worked in the care sector, I had many wonderful coworkers. What many of them had in common was that they were women, worked for low wages, had poor schedules, and couldn’t manage to work full-time. Even though it was many years ago, not much has changed. Working conditions in healthcare and social services are still poor. We therefore need to raise wages, ensure that the work environment and conditions improve, and introduce a six-hour workday with no loss of pay. That is true feminism.

Because it is the only party that manages to incorporate an equality perspective across all areas, whether it concerns the climate or social welfare

I want all children to feel optimistic about the future and have a good upbringing. Leisure time plays a major role in this. That is why the arts school needs to be free of charge, and we need to increase funding for sports clubs so that everyone can afford to participate in sports.

The Left Party has shown that we are needed on the city council in Västerås. Without us, bus fares would have gone up instead of down. The 40-trip pass with substantial discounts would not have returned, and children and young people would not have been able to ride for free during the summer, to name just a few initiatives. But we are still needed to ensure that Västerås remains a municipality for everyone, where we continue to lower bus fares with the goal of making them completely free.
