Vem är du som person?
I was raised with the belief that we should care about others and speak up when something isn’t fair. This has shaped both who I am as a person and my involvement in the labor movement and politics. I believe in community, solidarity, and the need to give ordinary people a greater voice.
Vilka erfarenheter har format ditt politiska engagemang?
My work at school as a student assistant, where I interact with children and adults in an everyday environment that is often marked by stress and a lack of resources. I have also seen the conditions faced by those working in the welfare sector through my union involvement. This has made it clear to me how important fair working conditions, adequate staffing, and sufficient resources are for society to function.
Varför valde du Vänsterpartiet?
Because I share the party’s views on justice, equality, and a strong, inclusive welfare society. For me, it’s important that there are sufficient resources in schools, healthcare, and social services, and that those who work there have good working conditions. I believe the Left Party clearly stands up for these issues.
Vad vill du förändra i Västerås?
I want the municipality to prioritize schools and childcare more effectively, by allocating more resources and improving working conditions. For this to work in practice, staff need better conditions, and policymakers need to be more responsive to the realities on the ground.
Vad vill du säga till västeråsarna?
I want to work toward a Västerås where the welfare system works and where people have the energy to get through their daily lives. Another world is possible!
